Madison with the Big-10.
This is what we wait to hear all year long. Stories coming in from the woods, hunters getting it done, and gear doing exactly what it's supposed to do when the moment finally shows up. The Miller family's season at The Lazy L Farm in Northeast Ohio is one of those, and it's got a bloodline twist you don't see every day.
The Big-10, September 28
All summer, two bucks ran the hay field at The Lazy L. The Millers called one the Big-10. His running buddy they called HM-3. Both were regulars, and both were on the list.

On the evening of September 28, Madison and her grandma Gail climbed into the 360 Pro together. The Big-10 stepped into the hay field around 6 p.m., and the two of them watched him and a string of does work the field for what felt like forever before he finally started drifting toward the blind.
He gave Madison a broadside shot at 35 yards. She let the bolt fly, hit her mark, and after a short track the buck was on the ground.
HM-3, October 3
A few nights later, Gene took his two daughters, Jennifer and Amy, back to the same blind to go after HM-3. With the Big-10 gone, HM-3 had changed up how he was entering the field, so there was no guarantee he'd cooperate.
It was a hot one. Deer were already in the hay field the moment the three of them got settled in, which meant the windows stayed shut. Temperatures inside climbed past 100 degrees. They sat through it.
HM-3 walked into the hay field at 6:30 p.m. They watched him for fifteen long minutes before he finally stepped into range at 6:45. Jennifer made the shot, and the second great buck of the week was down.

Why HM-3?
Here's where it gets good. In 2022, Gail harvested a buck out of that same 360 Pro. The Millers called him High & Mighty. Look at the photos of HM-3 and you'll see the same genetics running through him. Same characteristics, same look. High & Mighty was his dad.

So in the span of a few seasons, out of one blind on one farm: Gail took the father, her granddaughter Madison took the Big-10, and her daughter Jennifer took the son. All three with a crossbow.
A family affair
As Gene put it, deer hunting is a family affair at The Lazy L Farm, and hunting out of their 360 lets them do it together. A grandma and a granddaughter in the blind on one night. A dad and his two daughters a few nights later. That's what a family deer hunting blind is supposed to do. Room enough for everybody, and a front-row seat to a hay field that's been good to them for years.
A family affair. Jennifer, Amy, and Gene fitting comfortably in the 360 Pro.
Congratulations to the whole Miller family on a season they won't forget.
